Harmony Resorts - Grand Valley

The shady business practices with this corporation is disgraceful.Don't, don't, don't go here or any other Harmony resorts under any circumstances.You are nothing more than a revenue stream as they see fit to use and abuse your good intentions.They will lie, change rules, make up false facts to refuse to help you in any way.Trust that there is nothing good in dealing with this company.They will take your money and run without providing any value for the money taken. They will raise the rates mid season because they feel like it, even though you've paid in full for the season, they come back for $650 more.They are unresponsive when you ask questions. Ignore phone calls, emails, the list goes on.There is no reasoning like normal human beings who conduct business. They don't care.Stay away, stay far far away. People are leaving this resort in droves. Don't fall for the fake niceties. They are all fake. They make changes that are masked by false information...stating bs rules that are not real. Throwing legitimate upstanding people under the bus to pretend they have to do what they are doing for fake reasons. When you try to work with them, they do not care.Stay as far away as you can. Save your money.

Great quiet park with relaxing views of the grand river. Lots of nice space to walk around and get outdoors. Can't wait to see what the new ownership is going to bring to the table.

I recently visited harmony resort, and the staff goes above and beyond and makes me feel welcome. Amazing and scenic place.

For the most part, the campground fulfilled our travel requirement. Did it wow us beyond our expectations? No, and that was okay. We managed just fine.We booked a non-serviced tent site by the river, #8. The view was pretty, the picnic table and tree are interestingly situated, reasonably helpful to take cover as there was some rain that evening and we still needed to light up our bbq, well within the cold weather of October! We did it!We were fortunate to be the only ones in that corner because if we picked a more busier time during peak season, privacy might become a concern as there is nothing separating the 4 tent sites by the river. We were lucky to be the only ones there during our stay. Not sure how this can be improved but it is a thing to keep in mind for campers like us who are into non-serviced camp sites and somewhat conscious about privacy.The public washroom-shower was just okay, rather below average. Only one of the 2 showers had hot water when I went to use it, it felt a tiny bit disapointing but at least there was one working.I wish this campground has an actual sink for washing dishes! I have seen such either in the laundry room or just outside the washroom in plenty other campgrounds, this one definitely needs one! That would help avoid us taking too much time and space in the washroom which is rather small already.Overall, in regards of non-serviced tent camping, price was pretty good. The river view was nice, assuming privacy is not a concern. Washroom-shower was okay, large laundry room. A large sink for washing dishes would be a nice addition!

Our family stayed three nights at the Harmony Resorts - Grand Valley. The property has a mix of park model homes, transient trailers and long term trailers. The Grand river runs through the back of this property.While the website advertises fishing as an activity, the truth is that the Grand river is very shallow (perhaps a foot deep) and about 10 to 15 feet wide. We didn't see any fish and we tried fishing, there are a lots of rocks. Not ideal.We were assigned transient campsite #21 which is 2-way site supplying fresh water and 30 amp electric service. Our site backs onto a small creek. The depth of the lot is around 50 ft and the width is around 25 ft. The lot is very narrow and shallow. Other sites nearby only had 15 amp electrical service.There is a bathroom facility adjacent to the swimming pool and coin laundry. The bathroom and shower is on par with provincial parks standard which isn't great. It can use some TLC update as the sink countertop is split from the wall, green tiles are stained and rust on toilet compartments.The dump station is located next to where people play horseshoe games and the swimming pool. It is a strange location to discharge the black and grey tanks.The campground has EXTREMELY POOR cell phone reception. Without a cell phone signal booster, it would be difficult to get mobile connection (e.g Freedom Mobile, Rogers etc). And there is no campground wifi. The office wasn't willing to offer any assistance when we asked for help for wifi and mobile connectivity.Overall, the campground is mediocre at best. There is a lot of room for improvements.

They offer horseshoes but never any pits to play on because they allow tournaments every weekend

This place is really good for going to on the weekends and spending time with your friends and family. I also think that it's nice that they made the speed limit for cars 10kph for other people's safety. The river is also great to relax beside. Would definitely come back and I recommend this to anybody who would like to have fun on the weekends.

I think it is a very nice park with lots larger then most I have seen in the past.The River is beautiful and the people in the park are all very nice. The new management and mangers are going to make it a better place for all of us. Change takes time.

We just camped for a weekend. Had a nice shady site with water and hydro. Sandra was very helpful allowing us to pick a site of our choice. Went to the dance Saturday night and had a blast

Stay awayNo amenities, bad management, will lie about everythingPrices go up any time without reason.Nothing for kids to do.Very dusty roads.Nice fake 5 star reviews by the owners
